Research at the Capstone
Since its founding in 1867, the core mission of Howard University has been to provide educational opportunities of exceptional quality for African Americans and other underrepresented and economically disadvantaged minority populations in the United States. The OVPRC complements and extends that now-globalized calling in its efforts to attract, sustain, and develop a cadre of scholars and partners who can address the “big” research issues of relevance to the Howard community.
